When you call New Crystal Restoration, you won’t have to listen to annoying telephone messages that delay the process and frustrate you during your emergency. You will be greeted by a real person, not a machine!
A seasoned project manager will be available to start the process immediately. They will coordinate with you to arrange a convenient time to perform an on-site inspection of the damaged property. Every NCR project manager is IICRC trained and an experienced restoration professional.
Using state-of-the-art moisture detection tools, the project manager determines whether water has seeped behind the walls, under the flooring, or into any other nonvisible areas. Digital photos are taken so as to later assist the insurance adjuster in his or her claim assessment. We also provide a comprehensive damage report which includes a sketch with measurements and dimensions of effected areas, as well as a detailed summary of all damage to your structure and its contents.
Removing standing water from the property is always the top priority. Trained technicians are called in to remove all standing water utilizing professional extraction equipment and/or pumps. When necessary, sections of base molding, drywall, floor tiles, ceiling tiles, etc. may be removed, along with insulation, in order to better mitigate hidden damp or wet areas. Eliminating all standing water and moisture from these areas is essential to maintain the safety and structural integrity of your property.
Floor Covering- Carpet, tile and wood floors
Restoration is always more affordable than replacement. Our goal at New Crystal Restoration is to always help you salvage, preserve and protect as much of your possessions as possible. During a flood or other water damage event, flooring is often adversely impacted.
When possible, carpeting is pulled back, dried, cleaned and deodorized. Wood flooring may respond positively to our high tech floor injectidry machine drying mats, saving thousands of dollars in replacement costs. We also use industrial dehumidifiers and air movers in an effort to save your wood and tiled floors.
The sooner your property is dried out, the sooner you’ll be able to safely occupy your home or business. In order to speed the drying process and quickly reduce the humidity to a healthy level, commercial-grade air movers and dehumidifiers are brought to the job site and strategically arranged throughout the affected areas of the property. We use only the most current, high-tech drying equipment available.
In situations where the water damage is severe and extensive, New Crystal Restoration is able to obtain the use of dehumidification trailers designed to dry entire structures.
Disinfection of the Effected Site
Without proper service, water damage can often lead to further problems. This is especially the case in warmer temperatures as mold and mildew tend to grow more rapidly. It’s important to eliminate the germs, bacteria, fungi, and spores that cause mold and mildew from the property and take measures to inhibit their further growth. We use green, family friendly, specially formulated, EPA registered antimicrobial solutions to create a healthy environment for your family. The cleaning products used in our restoration services are proven to kill over 99.9% of bacteria and surpass the US EPA’s efficiency requirement for broad spectrum hospital disinfectants.
Do you have specific health concerns surrounding mold & mildew remediation? We’d be happy to talk to you and answer your questions.
