Local Help, When You Need It
Westchester County has always been important to us. It’s the center of where we live, work and attended local schools. That was never clearer than during the recent events of Superstorm Sandy. While our team was out there, working the front lines of this epic disaster, we saw many people who were experiencing the worst moments of their lives – and we were amazed at how strong, loving, caring and resourceful these people were. Talk about hardship bringing out the best in people!
We love Westchester because the people here are truly amazing. Our family restoration businesses helped local residents in 1964 with the December Ice Storm, with the Blizzard of 1966, in 1977, 78 and 1979 with severe ice jamming, in 1977 with Hurricane Eloise, in 1980-1987 with monsoons, severe floods and cold weather havoc, in 1996 with major flooding and 1998 with a catastrophic ice storm. In 1999 we helped our neighbors with Tropical Storm Floyd. In 2004 we assisted Westchester with Hurricane Ivan and in 2005 we helped with devastating flooding from Tropical Storm Tammy. From 2010 on we restored property from Tropical Storms Nicole, Irene, Lee and our most recent weather event, Superstorm Sandy.
We have been here to help Westchester for 55 years and we intend to always be here for you. Whatever the problem is, day or night, when you pick up the phone and call New Crystal Restoration, you’ll get a live person on the phone and not a machine. A member of our team will be there to help you right away. We understand and we are here to help.
Proud To Give Back
Westchester’s always been great, and we’re devoted to making it even better. We’re proud to be a steady provider of jobs; our team is treated well and most have been with us many, many years. We think of our staff as family.
Additionally, New Crystal Restoration is a proud sponsor of many local events, supports local charities and volunteers locally. Our founder was an avid supporter of Rosary Hill in Hawthorne, NY. Each Christmas he would visit the patients, share a catered lunch and donate gifts. Rosary Hill is dedicated to providing palliative care to persons afflicted with incurable cancer. Today the tradition to helping others less fortunate and in need of assistance continues.
Rosemary helped found Children’s Hope Chest. This organization’s mission is to help children suffering from poverty, abuse, neglect and illness. Some of the charity’s good work includes: distributing 1000 backpacks and school supplies, food drives to stock local pantries and providing warm coats to children each winter.
Lisa is committed to several charities which help children and adults with autism and developmental disabilities. Near and dear to her heart, as a parent of a loved one with autism, Lisa has volunteered at Devereux Millwood Learning Center, Cardinal McCloskey Community Services and Successful Learning Center. These programs help to enhance the lives of individuals who have special needs.
New Crystal Restoration sponsors numerous local charities and events. Some which include: Support Connection-Breast & Ovarian Cancer (Yorktown Heights), Carver Center (Port Chester), Westchester Jewish Education Fund (Harrison) and our local churches.
